Our therapists can provide tailored training to staff, carers and organisations on a number of nutrition-related topics. Please ask if we offer specific training if it is not listed below:

  • General nutrition topics such as recognising and responding to nutrition risks for people with disability
  • Client-specific training to upskill staff in caring and providing food for a client/group of client’s specific disability and health conditions
  • Enteral nutrition training – tailored to a specific client’s needs
  • Mealtime Preparation training (practical), usually offered in conjunction with a Speech Pathologist, where we teach staff and carers how to prepare, cook and texture modify recipes suited for a specific client/client group
  • Menu development – we will develop a tailored 4-week menu plan and provide you with the corresponding recipes to match the dietary and swallowing needs of a client/group of clients
  • Menu review – if you already have a menu, we can review it against the Australian nutrition standards and provide recommendations on how to improve
